About the Collection
This collection includes images of zines and other materials created as part of the “Margins and Methods” workshops in the Critical Making Lab at Northeastern University’s Centers for Digital Scholarship. The Margins and Methods workshops were funded through a generous grant from the NULab for Digital Humanities and Computational Social Science, which enabled us to develop a pilot workshop curriculum including handouts, instructions, samples, and other supporting materials. This site records and explores those materials and will expand as more workshops in the series take place.
Selected materials are also housed in the Northeastern University Digital Repository Service.
This site is generated using CollectionBuilder-GH, a project to create a free and simple digital collection using GitHub Pages from:
- a CSV of collection metadata
- a folder of JPG images or PDF documents

Technical Credits - CollectionBuilder
This digital collection is built with CollectionBuilder, an open source framework for creating digital collection and exhibit websites that is developed by faculty librarians at the University of Idaho Library following the Lib-Static methodology.
Using the CollectionBuilder-CSV template and the static website generator Jekyll, this project creates an engaging interface to explore driven by metadata.
